I had a vision, a split second image appeared in my mind like a photograph, but in that brief second, I knew that it was "Living".

I saw a ship, an old war Galleon. It was nighttime, there was no wind and the water was smooth as glass. There were no sails on the yardarms, no one was visible on deck, and the only movement came from two deck lanterns, very dim with black smoke rising from them.

I had the impression that the ship was bristling with cannons protruding from the gun-ports and the sides were plated with iron.

After the vision, I asked the Lord for the meaning of the vision. This is what I believe the vision meant:

  • Warship-  doctrines of an individual or church "denomination".

  • Night time- Waiting for the return of Christ.

  • No Wind- The "Breath of God" is not present, the waters are STILL.

  • No sails- They have no expectation of WIND (Holy Spirit).

  • Smoke coming from dim lanterns- There is very little "Light". The light (Truth) they have is "Polluted".

  • Iron sides with cannons-They are prepared to keep and defend their "Doctrines", and to attack "Other doctrines not their own".

Then I looked up "doctrines" and found in Matthew 15:9

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

"Worship" and I then I saw  WAR SHIP!

I learned several things from this vision. The Lord can give us a split second image or picture of something, and then download the interpretation to the image which can be rather lengthy and amazingly detailed. He also likes to play on words and their meanings.

The vison does not represent ALL churches, but is picture of hardened hearts towards much of what God wants to do in their lives.

I want to highlight that we must consider this truth and examine ourselves. My experience has been if we are "Set in our ways", God is reluctant to reveal to us HIS IDEA if we are full of our OWN. Reflect on when Jesus rebuked the disciples when they would not believe the women who returned from the tomb and said Jesus had returned. It was a sin of "UNBELIEF" against their own brethren.

This world teaches us not to "trust outsiders". If we want to be connected to the Body of Christ, we must learn how to trust the Lord's strength to protect us from false doctrines and teachings. Pride keeps our own "doctrines" in place and unchanged.

Doctrines have deeply divided much of the "Body of Christ". As I continued to "SEE" (reading between the lines), I realized that much of my testimony of what I see and record would be challenged. This consideration made me question whether I should even share these things, but finally decided that I will leave it up to the Lord to accept or reject what I believe to be from Him.

 Matthew 7:24

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.

There are many church "Denominations" in Christianity.

These denominations are not just different looking or designed buildings, but groups of people gathered together by certain principles and beliefs, ideologies of religious beliefs. Some of these standards of "beliefs" are very old, and many of the attendees are there because of family "tradition", not knowing anything different.

The Warship of my vision is like the parable of Jesus in the "House of the foolish man". "Denominations" have taken biblical scriptures and raised them up as standards for their "Beliefs". Other denominations will choose other verses and do likewise. Disagree and quarrel as they may, they will never defeat the other, because each is  standing on "biblical truth" (Sand).

 PARTICLES OF ROCK ARE SAND

But look again at the scriptures: One built on a "Rock", and the other build on "Sand".

The Lord showed me that "Sand" is just particles of rock, while the "Rock" is the SOURCE OF THE SAND. The bible without the Spirit of God is just SAND, pieces of truth. The "Rock" that the wise man built on, is RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LIVING GOD.

The "Wise man" dug deep into the SAND (Bible), and discovered the ROCK (Bedrock). Relationship with God our ROCK is the source of all "Sand" (Truth).

There is so much that can be said about this truth. It is critical to understand that it is only by being LED BY THE SPIRIT, that we can know to "DO THIS" or to "DO THAT" and it comes from a Word given IN SEASON. What is "Good" today, may be "DISOBEDIENCE" tomorrow!

The "Wise man" who dug deep until he found "The Rock", is a picture of disciples who walk with the Lord, learning and growing in INTIMACY (Relationship). Once we discover the "ROCK", we desire and continue to uncover MORE. This is the renewing and conversion process.

SPEAKING OF DOCTRINES

I did not become a believer until I was about 50. I did not grow up in Church, or a Church family. Most everything I am sharing is what has been revealed to me thru my spiritual walk with the Lord, not OTHERS. Without intending to, this has become my own personal "doctrine" because it is what I personally BELIEVE. This is not intended to be a teaching but a personal TESTIMONY.

Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV

So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

I cannot think of any area of greater confusion and division in the "Church" than speaking in tongues, which is ALSO referred to as PRAYER LANGUAGE. I believe Satan is the author of this confusion and discourse in this area.

Our prayer language is a mystery to our natural understanding, we don’t have a clue what is being spoken and is an act of Faith when we use it. It edifies us spiritually and without interpretation we  are ignorant of what is happening. We are being strengthened and Satan cannot deceive us in our prayer language because how can we be  deceived if we don’t know what is being communicated in our prayer language.

When we look to the Old Testament prophetically we can begin to discern the mystery of Tongues. Isaiah 28:9

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Do  not just read this scripture without taking hold and DISCERNING the message within!

YES, IT IS A HIDDEN MESSAGE TO THOSE WHO HAVE THEIR SPIRIT EYES AND EARS OPENED!

As new believers the Word of God is MILK to us. But as we mature (learning and operating in the Gifts of the Spirit) we are rightly able to DIVIDE THE WORD, the same word we read without spiritual discernment, this same Word becomes MEAT TO US. 1 Corinthians 3:2

I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;

Hebrews 5:12-14

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. [13] For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. [14] But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Do you as a believer understand the importance of speaking in tongues? Are you like the Apostle Paul "Speaking in Tongues more that you ALL"? Shouldn't we follow the footsteps of Paul, the person who wrote the majority of the New Testament and taught all of us?

For me I use my prayer language silently under my breath, while I work, and even while reading my bible. I do this frequently in prayer meetings with fellow believers, to help me discern. I do this out of forced habit, acting by Faith.

I feel that my prayer language is responsible for what I consider my joy in "Seeing" in the scriptures what I have not seen or heard in the natural.

It is my belief and understanding that the basic Gift of praying in Tongues is "Self-edifying". And based on that, it is the "Least of all the Gifts". But know this: It is the foundation of operating in all of the Gifts which are used to serve the BODY. If you are not edified by God OVERFLOWING, how will you spill into the lives of those around you? Isaiah 28:13

But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

The way of THIS WORLD is not like the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of Heaven is BACKWARDS TO WAYS OF THIS WORLD. And as we persist in our prayer language, we are backwards to the ways of this world, and we are broken, snared and taken by God.
