ADAM'S RIB

So God declared that Israel was His Firstborn son(Exodus 4:22).

In the Word we see the rise and fall of Israel as a nation, but God honored His promise to them nonetheless. Later we see the prophesied  Messiah come forth according to and fulfilling the Prophecies. Israel was rejected but not abandoned.

Genesis 2:21

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: And he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

There was a time period of approximately 400 years from the last prophecy of the Old Testament to the coming of the Messiah and the Church. John the Baptist was last of the Old, closing up the Old (Covenant of the FLESH) ushering in the New. God's son Jesus, from the tribe of Judah of the 12 tribes of Israel, established the 12 Apostles who established the Gentile Church.

Genesis 2:22

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

(Rib of Adam) God chose the Rib of Judah (Jesus is from the tribe of Judah) to form Eve (Gentiles).

Thru Israel (the 12 tribes), the Word was established and manifested in Christ. Thru Jesus the anointing was passed on to the 12 Apostles and the Gentiles received it.

Imagine my surprise as I took a moment and researched a little bit about human anatomy and discovered that the human body ribcage has 24 ribs.

12 ON EACH SIDE.

So we have 12 tribes of Israel and we have 12 Apostles and 24 Elders in Heaven.

Genesis 2:23

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

"Bones" are the foundation, the structure of the body, and "Flesh" is what powers the body. From the foundation structure of the 12 tribes of Israel (the first Adam) God made the Church (EVE). The foundation of the Church (EVE) AND THE JEWS (ADAM) is the Old Testament (bone  of my bones). Both acknowledge the power of God thru the Holy Spirit as part of God (flesh of my flesh).

Another  amazing aspect of this verse is that if you take into account that Jesus is the "second" Adam, Adam (Jesus) declares that these "Bones" are MY bones, and "flesh" of MY flesh. I recall the Last supper in  John 17:10

And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Jesus made it very clear that as Jesus and the Father were ONE, so also would they be ONE with Jesus.

There is more evidence of the Church being EVE and Jesus the Adam of the prophecy in

Genesis 3:20

And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Next look at what happened to Adam as He was exiled from the Garden

 Genesis 3:22–23

And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. SO HE DROVE OUT THE MAN; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Notice that God DROVE OUT THE MAN (ISRAEL) of the Garden. He does not say He drove out the WOMAN (CHURCH), and we know that God has withheld salvation to the Jews until the fullness of the Gentiles is completed.

Before we end here, lets go back to the Third Day Genesis 2:4-6 

This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;

"No man to till the ground"

This goes back to Abraham  who was of the Gentiles on the third day. God sent the Jews away from salvation, into exile all around the world (into the EARTH). They and the LAW OF GOD ARE ONE. The "Law" plows  the EARTH  so that it can receive SEED.
